Mt. Diablo Storm The Association of Legal Administrators (ALA) is an international organization of more than 10,000 members throughout the United States and Canada representing more than 20 countries. The association is comprised of six regions and 109 chapters. The East Bay Chapter is comprised of 54 members, representing firms of all sizes. The mission of the ALA is to promote and enhance the competency and professionalism of legal administrators and all members of the management team.

The East Bay Chapter relies on the support of our vendors. While we cannot offer membership to vendors, we appreciate and fully recognize the contribution they make to our members and our association.  Visit the Sponsorship Opportunities page for more details.

In response to business partners’ expressed interest in learning more about ALA, its members and opportunities to connect with ALA decision-makers, the Vendor Relations Committee and Vendor Advisory Panel created ALA Means Business: News and Information for the Legal Vendor Community. This quarterly electronic newsletter contains general information about ALA conferences and publications, as well as specific information the legal vendor community needs for planning and budgeting purposes. A "Quarterly Question" segment features a question relevant to the legal vendor community and three answers to it: from an ALA member, an ALA vendor, and an ALA staff member. We hope this approach will help readers gain a larger appreciation for topics and issues facing the vendor community and help us work together toward mutually beneficial outcomes. Although the newsletter was designed specifically for the legal vendor community, chapter leaders with an interest in vendor relations may also request a complimentary subscription.   To subscribe, please visit ALA's website at http://www.alanet.org/resourceforvendors/vendornewsletter.asp#subscribe
